Enhancing Textile Quality Control with AI Vision

At Viu More, we recently deployed an AI-powered vision system at a customer’s weaving facility, installing five high-resolution cameras across the full width of the textile sheet.
Our AI models were trained to identify even the most subtle material defects—imperfections that are nearly impossible to detect with the naked eye. During real-time production, the system continuously monitors the fabric and flags several defect types with high accuracy and speed.
The heat map below illustrates how these otherwise invisible anomalies are captured and analysed.
When defect levels exceed predefined thresholds, the system automatically sends an alert or can even halt the machine to prevent further issues.
Curious how AI vision can elevate quality control in textile manufacturing?
